The second day where I managed to hit my target without actually going anywhere. By the time I’d finished work in the evening I was still 2,400 steps short of my target, however a walk round the local Asda store on my way home and a bit-longer-than-usual bed time dog walk made sure that I exceeded the target by 328 steps, and the little man in the corner was very happy.
I think the dogs were a bit bemused on their bed time walk last night. I normally follow the same route each time and cross the road at a certain point, however last night I carried straight on down the road and went a different way but they still wanted to cross over at the same place 🙂
The little man makes me smile, he waves his arms when I hit 10,000 and I keep expecting him to jump up and down! 🙂 🙂
That’s a good idea. I have a friend who doesn’t believe in short phone conversations so next time she rings me I’ll walk up and down the kitchen while I’m talking to her, that should boost the step count 🙂
It actually sounds like fun reaching the target and I do like that little man 🙂 Well done.

He’ll be jumping up and down before the month is out 🙂

It would be funny (and very surprising) if he does 🙂

Those dogs are really handy! Sometimes if I’m a bit short but I still think I can hit the target I pace up and down the house.
